my friend’s mom has this recipe for brussel sprouts that involves grey poupon mustard and every time she makes them my friend asks “can i poupon the brussel sprouts now” and every time i think about it i laugh so hard.
interesting question. i cut them (straight across, then i sweep them to the side) monthly, usually taking about 1/4” - 1/2” off. aside from that i blow dry them with a small round brush in the opposite direction of the way they fall. i find that makes them stay better because they don’t go off to the side too much. also i straighten them, especially on the side, because my hair is naturally very wavy and unruly so they need some taming.
